Today is new years Eve. Although every family is busy, I am the only one in my family now. Even though there was a breakthrough in the final exam, my mother still let me finish all my homework at home to play computer. There are not many assignments. There are only thirty or forty papers and three exercise books. But when I sit down, I like to look through the outside. "The wind stops again. When can I stop to have a rest?" I cant help jumping down to play with the children when I hear their laughter outside the window.

The homework has been finished, but I feel dizzy, I cant show my appearance, but I always complain in my heart. It wasnt until I met the computer that I felt a little bit happy and felt the new year coming.

今天，天氣晴朗，爸媽帶著我到花生地除草。

我們的花生種下已有一個多月了，剛長齊花生苗，正是拔草的好時機。聽爸爸說，我們要除的草叫作芋頭草，它的根像一個個小芋頭，扎的非常深。它們只要有根莖在土里就會長出草苗來。除草劑對它也是無可奈何！為了不讓干擾花生的生長，我們只能人工拔除。

早上8：30我們來的花生地，只見花生苗長得嫩生生綠油油的，挺惹人喜愛的，但可惡的芋頭草也長得密密麻麻。我就挽起衣袖，連忙拔起草來。我用雙手抓著草，用力一拔，沒想到怎么拔都只是拔了幾片草葉。爸爸笑著說：“拔草不除根是沒有用的`，看我的吧！”只見爸爸左手抓草，右手用一根長木棒斜插進芋頭草的根部下面，左手一拔，右手一挑，就把草連根拔了出來。我學著爸爸樣，很快就掌握了這種有趣的除草方法。
