They are confident in what they know not only because they read, learn and think but also because they respect their instinct, intuition and the unique body of knowledge that they’ve developed by living life. They realize that one doesn't have to be labeled an “expert” to believe in one's own truths.

Self-confident people don’t undermine their own worth by comparing themselves with others, only to conclude that they aren’t “good enough”. They appreciate their strengths and accomplishments and can acknowledge, without embarrassment, their weaknesses. They don’t live in the “victim” position. Even if something really bad has occurred, they turn it into a challenge, remembering to be grateful for the little things in life.

Self-confident people let the world know who they are. If they want something badly enough, they know they have every right to “go for it.” Yet, they also know that the path will rarely be easy. Mistakes, blunders and failures are part of the learning process. They seek to learn from their mistakes and do not waste time torturing themselves over what “could have been”.

Self-confident people are not obstinate people. If they have an idea about something and it differs from the way another person is thinking about it, they will usually try to look at it from that person’s point of view, see why it makes sense to them. Yet, a confident person’s sense of self is grounded. It does not blow in the wind. Their ideas do not fluctuate based on what others deem are important.

Not long after an old Chinese woman came back to China from her visit to her daughter in the States, she went to a city bank to deposit the US dollars her daughter gave her. At the bank counter, the clerk checked each note carefully to see if the money was real. It made the old lady out of patience.

At last she could not hold any more, uttering. “Trust me, Sir, and trust the money. They are real US dollars. They are directly from America.”

一位中國(guó)老婦人在美國(guó)看望女兒回來(lái)不久，到一家市銀行存女兒送給她的美元。在銀行柜臺(tái)，銀行職員認(rèn)真檢查了每一張鈔票，看是否有假。

One day I want to grow up to be an actress. I want to be famous as can be. To be known thought out the world and to be love. To be an actress there are greater chance of meeting others famous people, going to their party and wearing fancy clothes, getting to be watch on screen. having own movies, tv show, comecial, clothing labe and so much more. Everthing is going to be about me when I be come an actress. So I want to be an actress to be famous and loveable as can be.

4月27日上午9時(shí)，第三屆中國(guó)媒體經(jīng)營(yíng)管理論壇在京舉行，中華人民共和國(guó)新聞出版總署副署長(zhǎng)李東東出席并致詞。本屆論壇將就“媒企和-諧”、“新技術(shù)引導(dǎo)的未來(lái)出版業(yè)”、“全國(guó)11城市都市類(lèi)報(bào)紙發(fā)行量公布”幾大議題展開(kāi)研討。

據(jù)論壇主辦方國(guó)新出版物發(fā)行數(shù)據(jù)調(diào)查中心提供的數(shù)據(jù)，全國(guó)各省級(jí)新聞出版局報(bào)刊處、國(guó)內(nèi)最頂尖媒體、大中型廣告公司、大廣告主和國(guó)外媒體界知名人士共約300余名代表參加了會(huì)議。

以下是《財(cái)經(jīng)》雜志的總經(jīng)理吳傳暉發(fā)言的全文：

各位同行、各位朋友，大家好，很高興得到這個(gè)主辦單位的邀請(qǐng)，到這里跟大家溝通探討“媒體與企業(yè)共贏”這么一個(gè)話題。剛才華蓋創(chuàng)意這位先生給了我們一個(gè)很棒的視覺(jué)盛宴。其實(shí)歸根到底，這些圖片都是用在媒體上，無(wú)論它是紙媒，還是網(wǎng)站，還是商家的廣告。

我剛剛來(lái)的時(shí)候，我也在想，一路上因?yàn)榻煌ê芏拢R上要放假了，甚至堵得開(kāi)不了。其實(shí)我們常常發(fā)現(xiàn)在路上這么堵的階段，擁擠不僅僅是汽車(chē)，可能一百米的路上都有很多的廣告蹦到大家眼前，包括燈箱的個(gè)、樓宇的廣告，所謂這些形態(tài)都可以在很短路程里看到，剛才啊，手機(jī)里收到招行的促銷(xiāo)廣告。實(shí)際上每個(gè)人、每一天都被大量媒體所包圍，我們可能是看著報(bào)紙，吃著早飯，聽(tīng)著電臺(tái)廣播去上班。在等電梯時(shí)還有其它的東西看一下。到辦公室，msn上還有其它的廣告，進(jìn)了電郵，還有一些垃圾郵件。中午時(shí)，你下樓吃飯時(shí)，可能人家塞給你一些宣傳片，回到家里你會(huì)翻翻雜志，基本上我們中國(guó)已經(jīng)進(jìn)入媒體泛濫的時(shí)代，十幾年前，我們想，可能能看的就幾個(gè)頻道，全國(guó)真正比較成功的商業(yè)興市場(chǎng)化的媒體是屈指可數(shù)的。今天我們很容易超過(guò)60個(gè)電視頻道，可以選擇的網(wǎng)站可能是幾千個(gè)，任何一棟樓都有像分眾這樣的傳播媒體。連出租車(chē)的椅背上都有了小的電視屏幕了，過(guò)去三月份中國(guó)有差不多超過(guò)20本雜志創(chuàng)刊或者重新改版。

在這樣的情況下，每個(gè)人都很困惑，比較迷惑，受眾是覺(jué)得這個(gè)信息在爆炸，不知道選擇什么樣的消息渠道，應(yīng)該瀏覽什么樣的信息，企業(yè)也挑花眼了，每個(gè)媒體都在兜售自己的受眾和傳播力。媒體的日子其實(shí)越來(lái)越難過(guò)，為什么我這么說(shuō)呢?因?yàn)槟愕氖鼙娫絹?lái)越挑剔了，企業(yè)要拼命給你壓價(jià)，在任何一個(gè)領(lǐng)域，任何一個(gè)媒體，都面臨著一大堆的模仿者、跟隨者或者是挑戰(zhàn)者，每一個(gè)所謂的我們叫出版人或者叫媒體經(jīng)營(yíng)的負(fù)責(zé)人，都在想怎么樣使自己媒體與眾不同、脫穎而出。但是我個(gè)人還是認(rèn)為，整體而言，媒體其實(shí)并沒(méi)有因?yàn)閿?shù)量的增加而貶值，因?yàn)榇罅咳狈τ衅焚|(zhì)的媒體，這些缺乏品質(zhì)的媒體是沒(méi)有價(jià)值的。媒體的泛濫也只是相對(duì)的，因?yàn)楹玫拿襟w資源永遠(yuǎn)是稀缺的，什么叫好的媒體?是可以創(chuàng)造價(jià)值的媒體。

我今天想說(shuō)，擁有這創(chuàng)造價(jià)值的媒體才可以與企業(yè)共贏。這是我今天在這里想表達(dá)的一個(gè)思路。一個(gè)重要的問(wèn)題就是什么是媒體的價(jià)值或者說(shuō)媒體能為誰(shuí)帶來(lái)什么樣的價(jià)值。當(dāng)然我們都很清楚，媒體存在的價(jià)值和意義，在于它所謂“中間人”的位置，因?yàn)槲覀儼研畔Ыo受眾，把受眾的注意力帶給我們的廣告主，這是一個(gè)真理，可是在今天的市場(chǎng)環(huán)境里，其實(shí)情況可能要復(fù)雜一些。剛才講了，現(xiàn)在的社會(huì)并不是稀缺的，而是非常充足的，甚至是多余的，有時(shí)甚至讓你感覺(jué)帶來(lái)負(fù)擔(dān)。如果真的媒體貶值，最主要的原因信息本身在貶值，剛才華蓋創(chuàng)意那位先生也說(shuō)到，人們正在改變獲取信息的方式和介質(zhì)，你是看還是閱讀，有很多的選擇。但是，在這樣一個(gè)環(huán)境下，我反而覺(jué)得，媒體沒(méi)有失去其存在的價(jià)值在于因?yàn)楹玫拿襟w反而有更多的機(jī)會(huì)。也就是說(shuō)，包括在我們編輯團(tuán)隊(duì)或者我們?cè)诮?jīng)營(yíng)部分，我們一直比較強(qiáng)調(diào)所謂好的團(tuán)體，是有品質(zhì)的媒體及，反而會(huì)有更多的機(jī)會(huì)可以成功，什么叫好的媒體?我們認(rèn)為是好的媒體能夠幫助受眾把信息變成知識(shí)。

I always think there is not enough time. For example， I have just taken athree-day holiday. But when I look back， I just feel that it‘s only one day.There goes a proverb， “Time is money”。 Now I want to say， time is more preciousthan money， because when money is spent， we can earn some more again. However，when time is gone or lost， never will it return.

Time goes without being noticed. The time for our study and work is usuallylimited. So I think we must make full use of our time. But it‘s a pity that I amalways not aware of the importance of time until it’s too late.

So I think， I should get into the good habit of saving time because wastingtime is equal to wasting one‘s life. Do not put off what can be done today tilltomorrow!

我總是認(rèn)為沒(méi)有足夠的時(shí)間。例如，我剛剛完成了一個(gè)三天的假期。但當(dāng)我回頭看時(shí)，我只是覺(jué)得它只是一天。俗話說(shuō)“時(shí)間就是金錢(qián)”，現(xiàn)在我想說(shuō)的是，時(shí)間比金錢(qián)更寶貴，因?yàn)楫?dāng)錢(qián)花了，我們可以再掙一些。但是，當(dāng)時(shí)間消失或失去，永遠(yuǎn)不會(huì)返回。

時(shí)間不被注意。我們學(xué)習(xí)和工作的時(shí)間通常是有限的。所以我認(rèn)為我們必須充分利用我們的時(shí)間。但遺憾的是，我始終沒(méi)有意識(shí)到時(shí)間的重要性，直到為時(shí)已晚。

所以我想，我應(yīng)該養(yǎng)成節(jié)約時(shí)間的好習(xí)慣，因?yàn)槔速M(fèi)時(shí)間等于浪費(fèi)生命。不要把今天能做的事拖到明天!
