一、教學目標與要求
1、能夠讀懂Read and say的小短文,并能完成相應的練習。
2、運用be going to句型復習旅行用語。
二、教學重、難點分析
本課時的重難點是讓學生在具體情景中熟練運用be going to句型,詢問和回答有關信息。
三、課前準備
1、教師準備風景圖片(包括Stone Forest和folk dance圖片)。
2、教師準備音樂、課文磁帶。
3、教師準備單詞卡片。
四、教學步驟和建議
1、熱身(Warm-up)
(1)、播放Unit 4“A Trip to China”歌曲,學生跟唱。
(2)、展示一張照片,并進行談論。
Look ,this is a picture of my family.Last summer ,I went to Beijing with my family.Yes ,this is my daughter.This is my husband.We went to Tian’anmen Square.And the summer holiday is coming.I’m going to take a trip ,too.不知同學們在假期有什么計劃呢?Do you have any plans ?
Ask and answer.同學在假期里都有出游的計劃,不知道Mike 要打算做什么。
2、新課呈現(xiàn)(Presentation)
(1)Read and say
T: Mike is going to take a trip , too.He is talking with Zhang Peng on the phone.Where is he going ? Who is he going with ? Do you want to know ? Listen carefully.Play the tape.(2)Teach Stone Forest and folk dances

教學過程: Step1.Preparation 1.教師出示實物復習pencil, ruler, bag, book, pencil-case, eraser, crayon, pen等單詞。
2.教師引導學生用以上單詞做問答練習:
如:What’s in the bag? What’s in the pencil-case ? 3.在學生回答出問題后,教師再問:How many pencils/pens…?使學生能用復數(shù)進行回答。
如:What’s in the pencil-case? A ruler, two pencils… Step 2 Presentation 1.課件出示一幅教室的圖片,教師介紹說:This is a classroom..Ask: What’s the meaning of the classroom?
Guess.Ss:教室。Then teach it.教師板書并領讀,然后讓學生由集體到個別輪流讀單詞
教師接著問:What’s in the classroom?
學生聽懂后,教師可先試著讓學生回答,能說出英文的學生給予表揚(desk, chair, picture都已學過),也可讓學生用中文回答。
教師指著教室里的黑板教學blackboard,教師板書并領讀,然后讓學生由集體到個別輪流讀單詞。
How many blackboards can you see? Ss: Two.Yes, two boards.然后在board加S。然后教師做擦黑板的動作,邊做動作邊說 clean the blackboard.教師邊領讀邊做動作,并讓學生跟著邊說邊做。
用同樣的方法教學單詞window, light, picture和door,同時融入動作。
Close the window.Turn on the light.Put up the picture.Open the door.同樣教師先示范動作,然后讓學生邊說邊做。2.讓學生觀看本部分的教學課件2遍。
第一遍聽,第二遍學生跟讀并模仿Let’s learn部分的內(nèi)容。讓學生看著畫面回答: What’s in the classroom?

4.讓學生在小組內(nèi)讀單詞,采用兵教兵的形式。
然后找部分學生讀單詞,檢查掌握情況。Step 3 Practice 1.What’s missing?
教師藏起一張單詞卡,出示其他單詞卡,讓學生進行快速認讀,問少了哪一個單詞?
Step 4 Production 讓學生四人一組在小組內(nèi)討論自己的教室。
用上句型What’s in the classroom? 以及學過的有關單詞。然后找?guī)捉M學生在班上展示。Step 5 Progress Listen, draw and say 1.教師發(fā)給每個學生一張圖畫紙。
2.教師說一段話,學生根據(jù)所聽到的內(nèi)容在紙上畫出圖畫。所聽內(nèi)容:

5呈現(xiàn)句子It’s east of the cinema.
用圖片復習方位詞east west south north 并把它們貼到教室的四個方位,教師站在中間,教師指哪個地方,學生就大聲讀出這個方位。
6教師站在教師的一個小組上T : Where is Mr Chen? Ss: It is in the cinema. 教師這時用手指東邊,Ss: It’s a library. T: So the library is in the east , It’s east of the cinema.(強調(diào)It’s east of the cinema.)

本單元以過去和現(xiàn)在為話題,重點學習表示過去的時間狀語、學校設施和部分動詞及動詞短語。本單元以學生的實際情況出發(fā),通過說唱歌謠、小組合作等形式使學生處于輕松、快樂、趣味十足的學習氛圍。

利用大家都非常熟悉的名人劉翔和姚明引入新單詞taller和shorter的'學習,形象直觀,便于學生接受。而在學習younger和older的時候,則直接用教師和學生的實際年齡做為教學資源,讓學生在實際生活中學習新知識。Chant是小學生學習英語時最喜歡的練習方式,在學習新知時,用chant 加深學生的印象,便他們牢固掌握新學單詞。

2. Chant:教師播放三年級下冊六單元A部分Let’s do的錄音“Tall, tall, tall, make yourself tall…”師生一起吟唱并做出相應的動作。
3.Play a game.(打開課件,播放人物圖片)

S1:I’m thin and short .What’s your father like, ..?
S2:My father is strong and tall.
(二)Presentation
1.課件出示劉翔的圖片,問:Who is he? What’s he like? 引導學生回答:He is Liu Xiang. He is tall.
T: Yes, Liu Xiang is tall. (課件出示姚明的圖片。)Look at Yao Ming.
What’s he like?
Ss: He is tall, too.
T: Yes, he is tall. He is taller than Liu Xiang.(在tall后面用紅筆加上er. 領讀、拼讀單詞并說句子。)

1.Warm-up

2.Presentation and practice
(1)教師出示Let’s start的教學掛圖,說:Look! We have some new friends here. Who are
they? What’s the matter with
them?…幫助學生回答,并引導學生通過觀察圖片或教師的肢體動作來幫助學生熟悉答句中的新單詞和短語。
(2)播放Let’s chant的錄音,重點領讀句子:I have a headache. I have the flu.
(3)教師出示一支體溫表,說:This is a thermometer. If I have a fever, it will tell me.
Let’s see Mike. Mike doesn’t feel well. He has a fever.指著Let’s
learn的圖片的Mike,教學“have a fever”。讓學生看圖片,教授單詞和短語:hurt, have a cold, have a
toothache, have a headache, have a sore
throat.注意headache和toothache的共同之處,幫助學生簡單了解構(gòu)詞法。播放錄音,讓學生跟讀單詞。
(4)教師讓學生讀單詞,叫到的同學,給他圖片(have a fever),問他:“What’s the matter, xxx?”引導學生說:I
feel sick. I have a fever.解釋sick單詞。用同樣的方法教授句型:What’s the matter, xxx?
要求學生回答并做出相應的表情??梢宰寣W生兩個進行操練。
(5)“看病”游戲。
將學生分成六大組,每組選一張短語卡片。教師戴上醫(yī)生的帽子提問:Cold, cold, who has a cold? 如第一組選中的是have a
cold,這組學生就邊做動作或表情邊吟唱:Cold, cold, I have a cold.用同樣的方法進行操練,各組調(diào)換卡片繼續(xù)該活動。
(6)“敲敲打打”活動。
教師將所學單詞或短語寫在黑板上,然后把學生分成兩大組,每組派一名代表站到黑板前。教師說單詞或短語,請學生敲擊聽到的單詞或短語,誰敲得既對又快得一分,最后得分高的組獲勝。
3.Consolidation and extension
(1)學生聽讀P14-16五遍。
