本節(jié)課的不足之處,由于本節(jié)課的內(nèi)容較簡單,所以在各個任務(wù)環(huán)節(jié)的難度梯度不是很明顯。這樣沒有為能力較強(qiáng)的同學(xué)提供戰(zhàn)線的機(jī)會,而且本單元涉及的單詞較多,學(xué)生不能完全的熟練掌握。所以在以后的教學(xué)中還應(yīng)不斷的探索,尋求更大的突破。

(1a) This activity introduces the key vocabulary. Ask students to read the list of words. Point to the letters next to the people in the picture. Point out the sample answer. At last, check the answers.

(1b) This activity provides guided listening and writing practice the target language.

Play the recording the first time, then , play it again, this time, students fill in the blanks in the speech bubbles.

Correct the answers.

Language points: 1.He’s the tall boy with the curly hair.

(1c)This activity provides guided oral practice using the target language. Ask the students to ask and answer the questions. Then have students work in pairs. As they talk, move around the room monitoring their work.

②build 多用作動詞,但在句中是名詞,意為體格。

His mother’s hair is turning gray.

如果側(cè)重指(一根一根的)頭發(fā),有其復(fù)數(shù)形式hairs.

4.She’s good-looking but she’s a little bit quiet. 她很漂亮,但是有點(diǎn)不大愛說話。

①a little bit 常用于口語中,“稍微,有些,少許”相當(dāng)于副詞。接近于a little.

It’s a little bit cold today.

I feel a little tired now.

This shirt is a little too large for me.

②quiet 是形容詞,“寡言的,穩(wěn)重的,溫順的”

His daughter is a quiet child.

③good-looking, beautiful, pretty與handsome

good-looking 常用于指容貌美,beautiful 表示接近和諧理想的美; pretty并非表示完美無缺的意思,而是著重表示“可愛,令人憐愛”;handsome 指容貌端正英俊的,形容女性時,作“健美的”。他們常用于一些特定的人或事物。

love 作動詞還常表示為“愛,疼愛,愛惜”

They both love each other.

②tell jokes 意思為“說笑話”,類似的短語還有 tell a story, tell a lie, tell the truth.

6.She never stops talking.他從來都是喋喋不休的說。

①never 是副詞,意思為“決不,永不,從未,一點(diǎn)也不”

never 通常置于一般動詞之前,be動詞、助動詞之后。

I never get up early Sunday morning.

She is never late for school.

有時置于句中特定詞(短語)之前,以強(qiáng)調(diào)該詞的否定意味。

They spoke never a word to each other.

never 可依置于命令動詞之前。

Never eat too much.

②stop doing / stop to do

stop 后接動名詞,表示停下動名詞所指的動作; stop 后接不定式,表示停下其他事情,去做不定時所指的動作。

He stopped drinking water. 他停下(不再)喝水。

He stopped to drink water. 他停下(停下手)來喝水。

7.He likes reading and playing chess. 他喜歡讀書下棋。

①read 多指看文字性的東西,“看”實(shí)際上就是“讀”,作及物動詞和不及物動詞都可以。

Children usually like reading picture-books.

Don’t read in the sun.

②look 為不及物動詞,后面接賓語時,需用介詞at,表示看的過程,強(qiáng)調(diào)有意識的動作,多用來喚起別人的注意。

Look! Who’s the man under the tree?

③see 能用作及物動詞后接賓語,也可用作不及物動詞,著重于看的結(jié)果,“看到,看見”

但不一定是有意識的。由于see強(qiáng)調(diào)的是結(jié)果,所以一般不用于進(jìn)行時態(tài)中。

固定搭配:see a doctor see a film

④watch 為及物動詞,用來指非常仔細(xì)的、有目的或特意的動作,表示“注視、觀看、監(jiān)視”。

The teacher often watch them playing games.

注意:看電視,看比賽 習(xí)慣上多用watch表示,即:watch TV, watch a game.

⑤play chess 意思為下棋,play??勺鳌氨荣?,競賽”等,但要注意,play 與比賽、游戲用在一起時,比賽游戲前不加冠詞。

Ⅰ. Warming-up and revision

教師進(jìn)教室后,使用祈使句請學(xué)生們完成一系列動作:

Please stand up/ sit down. Close the door, please. Look at me and listen to me.

Don’t open your books. Don’t talk. Let’s begin our class.

學(xué)生聽教師的指令完成各種動作,教師也可將指令寫到黑板上,讓學(xué)生從視覺上考察祈使句的特點(diǎn)。

Ⅱ. Presentation

教師出示書上1a 的圖片,向?qū)W生提問。

指著圖上奔跑的男孩提問

T:What’s the boy doing? S: He’s running.

T: Where is he running? S: He’s running in the hallways.(板書,教讀)

T:Can you run in the hallways? S: No, I can’t.

T: So please don’t run in the hallways.(板書,教讀)

(= You can’t run in the hallways.)

學(xué)生跟讀數(shù)遍,明白祈使句和“can”的表達(dá)含意。

T:Why is he running in the hallways? S: He’s late.

T: Oh, he’s late for class.(板書,教讀)

You can’t arrive late for class.(板書,教書) = Don’t arrive late for class.

T: Now, Look at the picture on your textbook. Each of the students is breaking one of these rules.

Please finish 1a.

學(xué)生看圖,完成1a的內(nèi)容,檢查答案并大聲朗讀校規(guī)。

Ⅳ. Listening

1. T: Now let’s listen! What rules are these students breaking? Write the numbers after names?

2. 學(xué)生們聽錄音,完成1b,選出四位學(xué)生都違反了哪條校規(guī);聽之前,學(xué)生要讀會英文名。

3. Check the answers:

Ⅴ. Pair work

請兩位學(xué)生朗讀1c部分的句型;要求學(xué)生兩人一組對話表演,SA扮演外校轉(zhuǎn)來新生,SB告知本校校規(guī)。(學(xué)生可經(jīng)過討論,多說出他們想到的校規(guī),不必只限于書上;教師應(yīng)給予幫助)

1. Work on 2a:

First, let's read the sentences in 2a together.

T: Now, let's listen to the recording. Check the activities Alan and Cindy talk about.

Ss listen to the recording and check the activities they hear.

Play the recording again for the Ss to check the answers.

Make Sure Ss know what they should do.

Listen to the recording again. Can Alan and Cindy do these activities? Circle can or can't above.

1. Suppose you are Alan and your partner is Cindy. Talk about the rules in 2a.

2. Let some students come to the front and act out the conversations.

Ⅷ. Role-play

1. Read the conversation and find some rules in this school?

2. Ss read the conversations and find the answers to this question.

3. Check the answers:

o能在日常生活中恰當(dāng)理解這單元話題范圍內(nèi)的單詞和習(xí)慣用語,在真實(shí)的語言環(huán)境中體會語言,運(yùn)用語言,感受語言的真實(shí)價值,品味語言的實(shí)際意義,從而獲得運(yùn)用語言的實(shí)際能力,運(yùn)用所學(xué)知識進(jìn)行創(chuàng)造性地發(fā)揮應(yīng)用和積極主動地用英語進(jìn)行交流。

3.情感目標(biāo)

短語:go to(a place),go shopping,go for a walk with……,visit (a person),watch sb do sth,It is time to do sth,read a book about(history),see an interesting talk show,study for the(math)test。

Step1. Revision

1. Check the past tense of some words.

2. Practice “How was your weekend?”

Step2. Exercise

Ask: What did you do yesterday?

Let’s see what Sally and Jim did yesterday. Do 1a on P56.

Do you like the things they did? Ask: Do you like to play the guitar? … .

Listen and write down what Sally and Jim did last weekend and complete the chart.

Step3. Survey

Interview your partners about their parents: What did your mother /father do last weekend? Then give us a report: My friend **’s father/mother … last weekend.

Step4. Reading

Read 3a by yourself, and circle the activities you like. Underline the activities you don’t like. Then let the students give their answers.

Explain: For most kids.

Then ask some students to read the passage.

Step5. Survey

What did most of you do last weekend? Ask about your friends in your group and give a report:

Step6. Exercise

Do 3b. First ask questions about the pictures? What is he/she doing?
